Meg is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, philanthropist, social media guru, adrenaline junkie, amateur astronomer, dreamer, believer, embellisher, adventurer, and a little bit crazy. She is the founder of Thirsty Girl Films and known as a leader in short form and micro budget filmmaking. She is a crowd-funding veteran and has appeared on several popular indie film radio shows, panels, and blogs. Meg has been featured in print with Cupcake Quarterly Magazine, and on websites like IndieWire, Mubi Garage, Film Courage, Take Part, and Film Radar, just to name a few. In her spare time, she co-chairs The Gwapa Project, a 501c3 in its infancy that’s dedicated to providing high quality media content for non profits around the globe. Her new feature documentary, Gwapa (Beautiful), spawned the creation of The Gwapa Project and she's passionate about using her skills to help others in need. Fulfilling her love of the circus, Meg is excited to film her latest project, “Bizarre,” set to shoot on the RED Epic and Phantom Flex. An Emerson College alumni, Meg is also an award winning art director and published poet. She believes that with dedication and hard work, anything is possible. In the filmmaker’s own words, “Stay young. Stay wild. And never stop dreaming.”
